For career development practitioners

Coach the future of work, not the last job.

AI is removing the rungs of the career ladder. Fractional Manager gives your clients a new structure: measured exposure, an AI-fluency level, eleven metrics on 30-day cycles, and a record they keep.

  • 342 occupations measured
  • 11 self-rated metrics
  • 30-day cycles

What changed

AI went from a chat window to a workforce in four years

It took the repeated parts of jobs: the first and middle rungs of every ladder.

The shape of work

  • A large human hierarchy pyramid with a CEO at the top and rows of professionals below

    Yesterday

    Human hierarchies

    Humans doing the work.

  • The same pyramid where half the workforce nodes are now AI agents

    Today

    Humans and AI agents

    Humans directing the work.

  • One person at the top of a glowing AI swarm pyramid

    The one-person company

One expert, a fleet of agents, several clients.

The ladder was also the training system. Career development just inherited it.

The journey

Two instruments. You see both.

Seven minutes to map what a client can do, then thirty days at a time to move it.
  • Skills Constellation

    about 7 minutes · Explorer

A resume lists jobs. The Constellation maps what the client can do: one map, every node editable, built from three inputs.

    • Look deeper than the resume. Professional skills, transferable skills, accomplishments worth keeping.
    • AI skill audit. Seven adaptive questions. Five levels, Observer to Orchestrator.
    • Personal traits. An ikigai-style conversation: what they love, do well, and what pays.

  • Success Metrics

    rate, pick three · Optimizer

Eleven metrics the client rates, three they work on, and a number that has to move.

    • Rate. Eleven metrics, one to five, in ten minutes. The three lowest surface first.
    • Focus. Up to three per cycle. The first rung is a twenty-minute action.
    • Re-rate. Every thirty days. Activity is not enough; the rating has to move.

Your toolkit

What your service now includes

Four things a client keeps using between sessions. Each is a reason to buy the programme, and each gives the practice something to work with.
  • Profile

A published profile at their own URL: positioning line, accomplishments with numbers, AI level as a badge. Reputation earned inside a company, visible outside it.

For the practice · Every engagement ends with something a stranger can evaluate.

  • Upskill

An AI-fluency level that rises on real AI work, not on courses completed.

For the practice · Progress is a number. A stalled level is a session agenda.

  • Networking

The Hive: field channels, messages and referrals from people making the same move.

For the practice · The client's network extends past the practice.

  • Knowledge feed

Curated reading for their field, and silence when nothing is worth it.

For the practice · The reading is done before the session starts.

Learn, connect, build

Learning moves the level. Connecting brings referrals. Building is the profile. All three feed the eleven metrics.

What Sam sees on arrival

Sample practice would like to see your scorecard

They will see

  • Your eleven ratings and how they move
  • Your AI-fluency level
  • Your audit summary
  • Which metrics you chose to focus on

They will not see

  • Your messages or Hive activity
  • Your leads or workspace
  • Your resume file
  • Anything after you withdraw access

You can change this at any time in Settings.

Invite and consent. One email creates the account. The client sees what you would see, and decides.

The opportunity

  • Bundle it into your fee

A line inside your programme, not a second invoice for the client.

  • Sell it as one cohort

Clients start the same week and rate on the same rhythm. One roster.

  • Renew lighter

A fourth cycle on a lighter retainer, or hand-off to self-serve, credited to you.

  • Become a Future of Work centric CDP

A practice that coaches the transition, with measured exposure and a scorecard the client owns.

Cohort 1 is free. Per-client pricing is set with cohort 2, priced to sit inside your programme fee.

By field

Who walks in

Five fields, each with its own evidence page. Figures are computed from the occupation dataset at build time.

Questions

Questions practitioners ask

Who owns the client's data?
The client. They grant a view on arrival and can revoke it in Settings. The record stays theirs.
What do I see that the client does not?
Nothing but your own private notes.
What happens after the programme?
Thirty more days of access, then the standard plan or nothing. They stay attributed to you.
I work in a publicly funded employment service. Can I use it?
Yes. Free coach seat, standard client trial, no invoice.
Does it write the client's resume or apply for jobs?
No. It reads a resume into a skills map the client corrects. Not a job board.
